EDUCATION MORNING SCHEDULE
Kingman has a dynamic summer educational support program. Fourth through seventh grade students are able to rotate between math, technology, reading/language arts, life skills, and arts & crafts classes. In their groups of ? to ? students, youths attend 2 classes every Mon – Thurs after the daily morning roll call and energizing activity.
Our PreKindergarten through third grade students are also able to enjoy a summer full on new learning experiences. The students enjoy various learning centers within their classroom settings. Exploration of reading, math, science, social studies, and technology are included in the learning environments. The centers help to bridge the gap between the summer and the beginning of the new school year.

Summer Youth Employment
As always, we would like to thank the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) for providing us a way to help the youth of DC help themselves. Over the years, we have been able to host hundreds of youth ages 14 to 18. Summer empoyees work various hours, according to their ages, between the hours of 9 to 5 pm. They are able to share in the Kingman summer employment experience which includes: Secretarial, Athletic, Educational, and Building Maintenance training. All summer employment positions require young people who are responsible, self-directed, and enjoy working with younger children. The program ends with a small ceremony in each individual work area. Each worker is presented with a certificate of appreciation.
