He has been a member of Kingman’s Board of Directors since 1991. He is also Kingman’s general counsel. John was born and raised in the District of Columbia, where he attended St John’s College High School. He is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center and is a partner at Beins Goldberg, LLP, a law firm located in Chevy Chase, Md. He is married with three children, each of whom attended high school in the District of Columbia.
As years of successful enterprise IT sales, strategic planning, and leadership experience with both venture-backed start-up organizations in high growth mode and established international market leaders. He has extensive experience with the Global 2000 in Telecommunications, Media, and Entertainment (TME) market segments with a focus on sales and operations. He is a visionary in enterprise software, specializing in the fields of data management, SDN, big data, data warehousing, analytics, AI, machine learning (ML), billing, SOA, and intelligent infrastructure. He was a former scholarship student-athlete at Tulane University.
He is an attorney experienced in helping his clients create and implement plans to benefit their families and communities through various methods, including both lifetime gifting and postmortem wealth transfers. Chris earned his law degree from Howard University School of Law, and his undergraduate degree from Saint Louis University, from which he graduated magna cum laude.
He has been a member is Kingman’s Board of Directors since 2003 and currently serves as Board Chairman. He is the son of Kingman founder Richard L. Peters. A graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, Mr. Peters is a financial advisor and the founder and Director of Lifestyle Life Insurance Group General Agency in Rockville, Maryland. He is married and lives with his wife and two daughters in Kensington, Maryland.
A tax professional and Certified Public Accountant since 1972 is the founder of Robert J. Wade & Associates, an accounting and business consulting firm serving Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. He is an active member in many civic and community organizations and serves on the boards of the Kingman Boys & Girls Club in Washington and the Fort Hunt Sportsmen’s Association in Mount Vernon, Virginia. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and served in the United States Navy.
She is the Montgomery County, MD, racial equity program manager. She grew up in the Shaw/Howard University neighborhood of Washington, was a “Kingman kid” from age 8, and has been an employee and a volunteer. In addition, Ms. Ward worked as the director of program services at Mentors, Inc. and continues to volunteer at the Kingman Boys and Girls Club, where she founded the Kingman Teen program. Ms. Ward holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Child Development from Tufts University.
